Nice to be back in the kitchen after a two week break, not that I wasn't in the kitchen at home the entire time. What yummies did I make while on break? Focaccia (a family favorite now), pop overs, cinnamon rolls, red velvet cake, eggs benedict, chicken pot pie, ham salad and more. This week we're working with pastry cream in the kitchen. Last night John and I were teamed up to make caramel pots du creme and vanilla bean pastry cream. We get to taste tonight. Yummy.
Caramel pots du creme? I'm not sure I know what that is, but it sounds delectable. Keep up the good work, you are almost half way done right?
